Hazeline Snow Moisturising Cream [REVIEWING MY HG PRODUCT] - One Of The Best Product I've Been Using To Treat My Acne

Hi everyone (*^▽^*)

How's your day? If you have a really tough days lately - like mine- , there's a good news for us because tomorrow is Friday \(≧∇≦)/ Lolol..

So I have a really busy stressfull days this week and in addition, I live in a country (Indonesia), especially my town (Makassar), which has hot and humid weather and it makes all worse. Just for you know I have a very oily skin, very oily here means super oily and my skin tends to produce oil just 30 minutes right after I take a shower. Super oily, isn't it? To make it worse, I have acne prone skin too >.<

I already had my first acne when I was 10 years old, but that time my acne wasn't that bad. Maybe just one or two small pimples on my face. But as I grew up, my skin become more oily and so do my pimples (growing more and more). So when I was 13 I already used acne treatment that contains 5% benzoyl peroxide.

The treatment worked really well so I think maybe I don't need to use them anymore, especially after I read some articles about the negative effect of benzoyl peroxide to skin and how tea tree oil can do the same wonder to acne prone skin just like benzoyl peroxide but with much less negative effect. So I changed my benzoyl peroxide cream with tea tree oil which I bought from Oriflame. I also changed some of my skin care routine too like I usually wash my face with cool water, but then I changed it into warm water and then ended it with cool water. I also steam my face.

In the first few weeks my skin looked really nice, but after that BAM!!! My skin was at its worst condition. I have many so breakouts around my cheeks, chin, and my jawline. Some of them were pustules, some were nodules. They are not really painful, but they do break off all of my confidence. I avoided the sun, my friends. I didn't like to go outdoors because sun light can make my acne more red and noticeable. Sometimes I looked my self in front of the mirror and cry. My skin looked so bad. It looked really dry, but in the same time they were really oily too. I tried so many treatment that time (maybe I'll do another post about it because it will be too long if I write them all in this post), some of them worked, some not, some even made it worse. So in a nutshell, I was back to my benzoyl peroxide cream (ToT) But because all of the trial that I do to my face, my skin is still really dry (but at the same time really oily too). I know this is confusing. I said my skin is oily but dry too because my skin still produce so much oil, but every two weeks my skin is peeling itself. My friends even called me snake skin.

Then one day my best friend since high school came back from Canada (she took college in Canada). She came home during her summer vacation. I told her about my skin and then she told me about a product that she has been used for 3 years to treated her sensitive skin (later I know one of my friend's granny has been using the same product from her teens until now). Yes, it is Hazeline Snow.

Hazeline Snow is a moisturising cream that was manufactured in Malaysia. It has 2 variants, the green one (Hazeline White & Natural Lightening Cream) and the yellow one (Hazeline Snow Moisturising Cream). I've been using the yellow one.

It contains 100 g of products which is a really generous amount of product considering the price. Really cheap (*´▽`*) The box has a really lovely yellow gradient color. Husky (the puppy) really wants to show up in this post so I let him to come take pictures together. Lolol XD

As you can see the side part of my arm with Hazeline Snow looks brighter. It has cooling sensation which is really nice when you apply it on your skin, just like snow ( ̄ー ̄)Really great for those hot humid days. The texture is a little bit different with other creams that I've been used before. It has snowy texture (dense/solid, but melt when you blend it on the skin). Unique, isn't it?

So I've been using this product for 3 and half years until now. Since the first time I used it, my skin NEVER peeling itself anymore. Really XD My friend never called me snake skin anymore. Yay!! I'm so happy with the result (now my skin is much nicer than my skin 3 years ago, but of course it happens not only because this product, but still, this product has a very important role on how my skin looks like now).
The other thing that I really love about this product is it doesn't make my skin more oily because it doesn't contain oil. It is a water-based moisturising cream so it will suit even super duper oily skin type like me. The only downside of this product is it contains methylparaben and propylparaben which can cause allergies for some people, but I've never experienced anything like that so I'm okay with it..
Overall I really recommended this product to everyone especially for those people with super oily skin that has a really hard time to find the perfect moisturising product which will suit their oily skin without making it more oily.

That's all for the review today. I hope you like it ^-^

My New Obsession : The Original Beauty Blender (Review)

Hi guys ^^ How's your day?

I'm so excited to do this post because 2 things.  First is because I've got a new template and this is my first post with the new template. So cute right? XD And second is because the thing that I'm gonna do the review today. I'm sure every makeup lovers already know or have heard about this little cute hot pink "egg-like" thing, yes it is BEAUTY BLENDER \(^-^)/

The Original Beauty Blender (Review)

Little things about beauty blender:
So this little baby was invented by top Hollywood makeup artist Rea Ann Silva to leave the user with a professional finish and a flawless complexion. It's patent-pending elliptical shape (or what I called egg shape^^) makes application fool prof by allowing us to access hard-to-reach areas with stunning ease. Its suede texture is sensual to the touch and its unique curve fit the contours of our face, leaving makeup dazzling and undetectable. Beauty blender is latex free, non-allergenic, and odour free. Beauty blender comes in 3 colors, pink (the original beauty blender), black (beauty blender pro), and white (beauty blender pure). As far as I know, the pink and the black one are the same beauty blender, just difference in color. The called the black one "pro" because the color is more acceptable for all user (man/woman). The white/pure one was created to apply skin care products, but it also can be used to apply make up.

Just for you know, Etude House has been released their makeup spoge too. It's much cheaper than beauty blender. I almost buy it, but after I read some mix review about Etude Baby Doll Puff, I was discouraged to buy it. Here's the picture of Etude Baby Doll Puff.

And here is my BEAUTY BLENDER ^^

The Original Beauty Blender (Review)

It's so cute, right? The fact that it's pink makes me love it even more XD I've got the limited edition of beauty blender. It's called Holiday Mini Beauty Blender With Boa. That's why the packaging is a little bit different from the original beauty blender which is more big and without "boa" on top of it, but the beauty blender sponge is the same.

Here is the picture of how to use beauty blender..

And here is the picture of my beauty blender before I saturate it in water..

Here is how my beauty blender looks like after I saturate it in water. It almost becomes 2 times bigger than before..

 The Original Beauty Blender (Review)

It even can not fit in it's packaging XD Just like the picture in the instruction paper..

The Original Beauty Blender (Review)

So I always use it "almost" just like what the instruction paper said (I said almost because I don't dip it into my favorite makeup). The wider base of the sponge is great for larger areas of the face, like the forehead, cheeks, and chin. The pointed tip is for blending makeup on hard-to-reach spot like under eyes or side of the nose. I usually use my beauty blender to apply my primer too. My experience after using it I was very impressed. Before I know this little cute thing, I always apply my BB cream with my finger and stippling brush, but it always gives me cakey look even if I already rub my finger onto my skin really hard (my poor skin). So bad, so unhappy X( You can tell clearly that I'm using something heavy on my face. Really ugly. But now, after I'm using beauty blender to apply my BB cream, I never have to deal with cakey look anymore =D I'm very satisfied. Bye bye cakey look XD

Oh, for additional information I found the best way to use this beauty blender with BB cream. On my first try, I use it by dip my beauty blender into my BB cream which I put on the back of my hand, but I ended up with using too much BB cream (I need 3 pumps of my BB cream, usually I just need one half) and still ended with cakey look -.-" But then I tried a different way by dot my BB cream on my skin all over my face and then blend them by quick-patting motion and the result is flawless skin. My friends even notice it. They always ask me how my skin can look so nice. The other best thing is it reduce the amount of the BB cream I use (I only need 1 pump now).

Overall I really fall in love with beauty blender. The only downside is it's really pricey and hard to get (I have to buy it online from my town), but you get what you pay, right? :p

So have you ever tried beauty blender too? What's your opinion? =D
If you have any question or want to share something, just leave a comment bellow here. I will really appreciate it.

Thank you so much ^^
See you on my next post

Review: The Face Shop Lovely Me:Ex Pastel Cushion Blusher In Plum & Pink

Hi everyone!! How's your day? It has been raining all day here in my hometown and it makes me kinda sleepy and lazy all day  XP

4 days ago my order of last month finally arrived.. Yippieee \(^o^)/ Here's the picture below...

Review: The Face Shop Lovely Me:Ex Pastel Cushion Blusher In Plum & Pink

So I really love one of loose powder from A'Pieu which called A'Pieu Oil Control Film Powder SPF 15 (review here) which I have used over the last 3 months. Since I love it so much, as soon as I saw them almost ran out I immediately ordered it for second time. I was so afraid of passing my days without this baby >.< Lolol... But when I was looking at other stuff, "accidentally" I saw these cushion blusher from The Face Shop. They look so cute and available in 5 pastel colors which are so lovely. Just so you know I'm a kind of blusher girl too. Actually I already have so many blusher, but I don't know, I haven't find the right color that I really look for, so I decided to try them. (Oh, and the yellow mask in picture above is the free sample that I've got for my ordered XD Review later)

Here's the picture of cushion blusher that I've got from other website...

Review: The Face Shop Lovely Me:Ex Pastel Cushion Blusher In Plum & Pink

So I've got mine in #03 Plum and #04 Pink. I was looking for a baby pink blusher and I thought plum and pink are the closest color to what I'm looking for. Each costing IDR 90 ($ 9 USD). Here's the picture.. Look so cute, right? XD

Plum (Left), Pink (Right)

They come in a kind of "carton" packaging. When I open them, I can see two puff poking XD The puff is so soft and super cute. The puff and the blush is separated by a plastick lid to prevent the puff from staining before you actually use it. These blushes has fruity scent which different from one another, but it's not really strong. You only can smell it if you take them so close to your nose.

So here's the color look like when I take it with the puff..

Here's the swatches on my hand..

Review: The Face Shop Lovely Me:Ex Pastel Cushion Blusher In Plum & Pink

I've tried really hard so you can see the difference of the color in the picture above, but it seems I failed  X(  Sorry.. But in real life, you can really see the difference. The plum cushion is a pink-peach color which has shimmer in it. The pink cushion itself is a soft baby pink-lilac matte blush.

Overall I really love these blushes so much. The color is sheer, but it's buildable and that's one of the reason why I love them. I don't like blush that already has really pigmented color to begin with. They give me natural baby cheek flush. The lasting power is really good too. I have a very oily skin which will produce oil 30 minutes after I wash my face if I don't put anything on it (like bb cream, powder, etc) and this blush lasting on my skin for 7 hours although it fades a little bit of course. The only thing that I don't like about these blushes is they can look a little bit chalky on my skin.

Overall I am so happy with these blushes. I'll give them 5 stars if only they don't have chalky finish, so I'll just give them 4 stars  XD

So have you ever tried these blushes? What do you think? Let me hear your thoughts about these blushes ^-^

Thank you and have a good day :D

Review : Etude House Brush - Pro Skill Powder Brush, Pro Skill Blusher Brush, & Duo Fibre Cheek Brush

Hello everyone! ^-^

Today I'm gonna write a review about brushes that I got from Etude House about a month ago. Actually I wasn't a makeup brush kind of girl. I only had one brush that I got from a department store which cost $2 (IDR 20,000). I used it everyday for 4 years to apply my blush. But once I get to know about makeup more, I decided that I need more brushes (and a nice quality one) to apply my makeup so I can get the look that I want. So, when I know Etude sell some brushes, I immediately bought three of their brushes which I thought I'll use often.

Review : Etude House Brush - Pro Skill Powder Brush, Pro Skill Blusher Brush, & Duo Fibre Cheek Brush
Powder Brush (Left), Blusher Brush (Center), Duo Fibre (Right)

1. Etude House Pro Skill Powder Brush
Review : Etude House Brush - Pro Skill Powder Brush

Actually Etude House sells two kind of powder brush, this white one & a black one. The black one is much cheaper than the white. I think the white one is for professional user (by its name - Pro Skill =p). The brush is made from natural hair (wool) and the handle is made from wood and aluminium. My impression after using this brush is I think it has a really soft hair, it doesn't iritate my skin at all. It makes my powder application more evenly and doesn't give me that cakey look that I usually get when I use powder puff. It lessens the amount of powder I used than when I use the puff. The hair doesn't shed, but it bleeds a bit everytime I wash it. The other thing that I like is the handle color. It's white and has a little bit pink shimmer. It's really pretty and girly I think. Overall I really love this powder brush from Etude

2. Etude House Pro Skill Blusher Brush

Review : Etude House Brush - Pro Skill Blusher Brush

It is actually almost the same as the powder brush. The difference is just the shape. While the powder brush has a round hair shape, this one is more flat. I really love this brush too. It applies my blush evenly. It doesn't give a streaky finish at all. It's just perfect.

3. Etude House Duo Fibre Cheek Brush
Review : Etude House Brush - Duo Fibre Cheek Brush

Also known as stiplling brush. I bought it because I read some blogs and watch some videos in youtube that stippling brush is much greater than foundation brush to apply foundation or BB cream. Actually I want to buy the pro skill version too, but it didn't available that time. This is made of a mix of goat hair and synthetic fibres. I usually use it to distribute evenly my BB cream. Actually I am a little bit dissapointed with this brush. Although it helps me to smooth my BB cream, it doesn't work as great as I expected. The hair shed evertime I wash or use it and it bleeds a lot too. Because of that I'll just give it 3 stars.

Have you tried makeup brush from Etude? What's your favorite makeup brush?
I would like to hear it from you..

Thank you ^-^
