Take Care Your Eyelashes: Do's & Don't's And How To Remove Mascara Easily

Yuhuuu pretty girls XD

How's your day? How's your eye lashes' day? =p

I'm sure every girl all around the world want to have beautiful healthy eyelashes. Although each person is endowed with different eyelashes, long/short, curly/straight, thick/thin (lucky them who have long curly thick eyelashes naturally), at least we can do something to make them in their best and prettiest conditions. And I do believe that healthy eyelashes are the prettiest eyelashes =D So in this post I'll give you some tips what to do and what NOT to do to your eyelashes =)

  1. Always REMOVE all of your eye makeup before you go to bed in the night, especially if you use mascara. Make sure there's no residue left. Not only you damage your eyelashes (brittle and fall out), but also can cause irritation to the eyes if you keep your makeup on your eyes all night long.
  2. When cleaning your lashes, don't rub them too hard as this may lead to loss of your lashes. Below I'll give you some tips how to remove your mascara easily ;D
  3. Give your eyelashes some time to rest. Many people apply mascara to their lashes everyday to achieve their perfect look, but they don't realize it can cause damage to lashes too. Give some days for your lashes to relax and instead you can wear bright clothes like yellow or red. Some experts recommended this if you want to go a "makeup free" day as this can make the attention focus on the color of your clothes.
  4. Same as above, reduce the use of eyelashes curler, especially the one that use the heat.
  5. Never pluck your eyelashes. Believe it or not, there are some people who have a habit of plucking their eyelashes. This can make your lashes become thinner and it will require some time before the lashes grow back again. But in some cases the lashes never grow back X(
  6. Just like your hair and your skin, your lashes also need to be moistened. In this case, you can use olive oil as moisturizer. Dip a cotton bud in olive oil and apply it to your lashes. You can use your old mascara wand too, but remember it has to be cleaned first.

Take Care Your Eyelashes: Do's & Don't's And How To Remove Mascara Easily

I have to admit that sometimes I was so lazy too to clean/remove my mascara from my lashes and even if I removed it, I would see some of my lashes fall out and I found out that day by day my lashes become thinner too. So I stopped using mascara, but that was before I found out how to remove mascara in the right way. And now I rarely see my eyelashes fall out =DDDD Yaaay!!

And because I am so kind and I wanna see every girl in the world to be beautiful like me. Lolol. So narcissistic =p XD I'll give you my tips here, but first you'll need an eye makeup remover and facial cotton:

Take Care Your Eyelashes: Do's & Don't's And How To Remove Mascara Easily

Above is the picture of my eye makeup remover. For now I am using the one from L'oreal because I'm using L'oreal mascara too and I really love it (my HG mascara until now). Next time I'll make a review about it =) But of course you can use any eye makeup remover that you like =D

  1. So first what you need to do is wet the cotton with your eye makeup remover.
  2. Place the wet cotton on your eyes like the picture below for 30-60 seconds. In this way the mascara will melt.
  3. After that you just need to rub it gently, very very gently, until there's no residue left.
  4. And voilà‎ you'll find that the mascara will be completely removed easily =D

So, that's all for this post =D I hope you like it and it can help you although just a little bit =p

See you again in the next post guys =D

Thank you and enjoy your pretty lashes =)

Break Away From Daily Routine

Usually Monday is my least favorite day because it means I have to go through five more days before the weekend again. But actually my Monday, today, turned into (might be) the best day of the week XD

So today my sister and I went to the movie theater which is located in Trans Studio Mall. At first (a day before) we were both confused about what movie to watch. There are so many great movies that played at this time (Vampire Academy, I Frankenstein, and Pompeii). But then suddenly appeared this crazy idea from our mom: “How about you two watch all of them at once tomorrow?” My sister and I thought that was the craziest idea we’ve ever heard. But because we were both a little bit crazy too, we finally did it anyway XD Lolol.

And actually it turned into one of the greatest idea ever (as long as you don’t do it everyday because soon or later it will make you bankrupt) XD

Here's our ticket. I've already done some research before I bought them to make sure there were still some interval between one movie to another XD

In the cinema hall. It's already a a little bit dark in there.

What I thought about the movies? They all are really great. I didn't regret watched them. Better than I was expected. Can't really choose which one I love the most, but maybe Vampire Academy and Pompeii. But for my sister, it's I Frankenstein.

And last but not least... My outfit of the day.. Sorry for the bad lighting, but still looks pretty right? =p

I recommended to do this sometimes for you who want to break away from the tiring daily routine. I think this is one of the nice way to relax ourselves, of course if you have some extra cash to spend (and for me, it's from my angpao from the last Chinese New Year) =D

See you again on my next post..
Thank you all =)

Crabby Time

Hi guys! How’s your weekend? Is it great like mine? XD

Two days ago my mom got a package from her friend who just came back from Timika, Irian Jaya. It is a box full of crabs, life crabs XD You know, crabs are best cooked while they’re still alive X( It’s cruel, I know. But sorry crabs, I can’t hold myself not to eat you. You are so tasty and yummy…

Crabby Time

Before we cooked them, my dad brush their shell first, so they’re more clean.  My mom is not a good cook, and so do I =p , so she just boiled the crabs in a big pot without added any spices. But actually for us it’s the best way to eat crabs. My mom and I have same taste in almost everything (food, clothes, etc) =p We love to eat crabs (boiled crabs) with soy sauce (the salt one), lime, and chilies, a lot of chilies XD

So when everything was ready, all of us (my dad, my mom, my lil sister, and me) set our position on the dining table, really excited. Lolol =DDD Crab isn't a usual thing for us to eat at our home because it's a little bit expensive here and it's hard to get a really nice one. The pictures below was taken right after the crabs were ready-made.

Wow, really RED. They reminded me with Mr. Crab in Spongebob. Lol XD

Boild Crabs

Here is my sister. I don't know what did she stare at actually. Maybe she ensured if all the crabs already died =p

And here's my picture with my pajamas (it was late at night by now, so I already wore my pajamas) , looked really happy with all of the crabs XD

Judith Polimpung, Pajamas, Boild Crabs

Because I was so excited when I was eating my crabs, I accidentally hurt my fingers so many times with crabs shell. Sometimes i think maybe that's a crabs curse for people who eat them. Lolol.

And here's our dessert for the night. One of my favorite fruit, Srikaya (soursop little sister) XD

Srikaya

So that's all about crabby time =DDD

See you soon again guys =)

Innisfree Jeju Volcanic Pore Clay Mask (Review)

Hi guys!
How are you today? Are you still excited? If you ask me, yes I am, because It's Friday XD Sorry I couldn't make any post yesterday because I was so busy and I didn't feel really well. Yesterday I got stomach cramps due to my period. I was lying on my bed when my mom came home and she brought me a cup of pandan cake.

Judith Polimpung Pandan Cake

Look, how green and yummy it looks. By the way, just so you know I love pandan cake so much. For you who don't know what it is, pandan cake is a light, fluffy cake of Malay origins (Singapore, Indonesia, Malaysia) flavored with the juice of Pandanus amaryllifolius leaves. The cakes are light green in tone due to the chlorophyll in the leaf juice (source: Wikipedia). So when I got it, I immediately grab a spoon and eat it till nothing left (suddenly forgetting my stomach cramps) =p

Okay, that's all for the little talk. Now let's begin with the review. So I've been used innisfree jeju volcanic pore clay mask for about 3 months already. This is the first clay mask I've ever used. I bought it for IDR 160.000 ($16 US). A little bit expensive I thought at first, but now I think it's really cheap and worth it. Later I'll tell you why I changed my mind. So, this is how the box looks like. It made of 100% recycled paper (based of letters on the box).

Innisfree Jeju Volcanic Pore Clay Mask Review

You can see there are letters "Fresh 3 M". It means from the manufacturing date until the product be in our hands, it won't be more than 3 months. So the product is still fresh. Yaaay!!! XD

Innisfree Jeju Volcanic Pore Clay Mask Review

Above  is the picture of the other side of the box. There are letters  that were written in English:
Innisfree Jeju Volcanic Pore Clay Mask
This Jeju volcanic scoria clay mask intensively adsorbs sebum and clarifies skin pores.
About Jeju volcanic scoria:
This pure and rare ingredients, formulated from solidified lava caused by volcanic eruptions in Jeju island, absorbs any impurities and sebum taht are deeply embedded within skin pores.
[Directions] After cleansing and refining skin with toner, gently smooth over entire face, avoiding the eye and lip area. Rinse off with lukewarm water after 15 minutes. (Use 1-2 times per week)

So this is the jar of the mask. Sorry it's already a little bit messy.

Here is the pictures inside the jar. There is a plastic cap between the cover and the product inside.

So I usually take the mask with a teaspoon. It didn't come with spatula, but I don't mind it because I think it's more hygienic to take the mask with a clean teaspoon. It just needed a little amount of the mask to cover my entire face. I used it every 2-3 times a week (yes, the box said 1-2 times, but I think my skin is really oily and it's not enough if I used it just 2 times a week) and look, there is still a lot of mask left in the jar. That's why I said it's cheap.

This is how the mask looks like on my face.

Innisfree Jeju Volcanic Pore Clay Mask Review

What I think about the mask:
It gives me a slight cooling effect in the first minute and drys really fast. It has a strange scent I think because I never smelled anything like this before, but it's not really strong and actually I kinda like the scent =D I found out that it's the best to rinse it off with lukewarm water likes the box said. Once I rinsed it off with cold water and the result wasn't the same. It's more easy to clear it up with lukewarm water and my skin feels more soft and clean. The mask itself actually doesn't remove all of my black and white-heads, but I found out that it's more easily to remove with my fingers after I use this mask. I really love the result that this mask gives me. I think it soothes my skin and calms my pimples somehow. I usually use it at night before I go to bed or before I go to a special occasion.

So repurchase?
Of course, why not. Beside, I have nothing to complain about it. This mask becomes one of my HG product.

Rating:
I give this mask 5/5 =D

A'PIEU OIL CONTROL FILM POWDER SPF 15 (REVIEW)

Hi guys!
So how are you today? I hope yours weren't really like mine. My college teacher was really mad at me this morning because one and another thing and she yelled at me in front of many people -.-" Ugh. Such a day. But actually my day wasn't really that bad because I ended it with many other great things too =p And... one of them actually is writing this post for you guys right now =D

So today I'm gonna review about a loose powder from A'Pieu  that I've got about 2 weeks ago. It's called A'Pieu Oil Control Film Powder SPF 15. A'Pieu is a brand from Korea. Actually it is under the same company with Missha if I'm not wrong. So I got this baby from my friend online shop for IDR 115.000 ($11 US). First thought that came to my mind was "Wow, it's really expensive for a loose powder". Yeah, all of this time I used Marcks loose powder for my face because it's really good for acne prone and sensitive skin and it costs just IDR 6.000 (under $1 US). Really cheap, isn't it? XD Actually I've never experienced any problem during use it, but I want to try another product because Marcks is just a really ordinary powder (oil control and the coverage are so so and sometimes it can give me a cakey looks). So here I am now with my new loose powder =D

So this is how it looks like with its box...

This is how it looks when I hold it in my hand just so you can estimate how big it is. Actually I was a little bit surprise and disappointed when I got it because I thought it would be bigger than this, but I think it's perfect for travelling and it's really light.

Judith Polimpung A'PIEU OIL CONTROL FILM POWDER SPF 15 REVIEW

I didn't use any make up here so you can see the real product. If you see it closely you can see a slight difference on my face before and after used it.

What I like about this product:
- It gives me a radiant looks
- It makes my pore less visible
- It has SPF 15 (I love product with SPF)
- The container is made from plastic so it won't be break easily if I accidentally drop it
- It small enough to carry in my makeup pouch
- It doesn't give a cakey look

What I dislike:
- The oil control is so so
- It can make my skin looks too white if I use it too much
- A little bit expensive for the size

Overall rating:
4/5, because the oil control is just  so so..

Repurchase:
Yes, if I don't find a better one yet =D

Here is a bonus picture from me. I took it right after I got home from my college so please ignore my oily face >.<

Judith Polimpung

See you in my next post guys =) Have a wonderful day =D

HI THERE

Hi! ^-^
Judith's here =D  I just started using blogger today and  I'm so excited about this XD  There are so many ideas running in my mind for me to write, but still confused what to write first. Lol. So here I am writing maybe some "unimportant" stuff to you guys. But first of all I want to say sorry if you find my English is terrible and maybe hard to understand because I am come from Indonesia and that means English is my second language, but I'll learn more and please don't mind if you want to correct my grammar (but please.. please don't be rude) =D  I call this "practice makes perfect and input was acceptable". Lol. So... until now how much have I did wrong? =p

Actually I already wanna have a blog like this since a really long time ago. When I was a cute pretty kid I loved to write stories, believe me, and my mom said I was really good...... Okay, maybe because it's my mom. Hmm, back to the topic.. But back then I didn't have a good internet connection yet and some free time. Hmmm.. Hey hey... Okay okay, I'll admit it, I was a "little" bit lazy too. I used to spend almost all of my free time playing the Sims on my laptop. Really.. That game is very addicted (for me until now). Lol. So I hope I'll be more using my fingers from now on to write and not to play games :D Okay.. See you soon guys.
